Paul Bach Counselling in Weymouth and Online

Hello and welcome to my website.

When I began my journey to become a professional therapist, it was with the vision and passion to be able to reach out to everyone and offer affordable therapy. By using the power of the internet and telecommunications, this has enabled me to make my vision become reality.

I specialise in affordable mobile counselling/therapy. This may be known to you as on line counselling/therapy, e-therapy. e-counselling, teletherapy or cyber counselling. This can be done by using our mobile devices, laptops or computers for real time chat, internet phoning or video conferencing. I do not do, text or emailing counselling and will explain later.

But, let me take a moment of your time, so I can explain the benefits of mobile counselling:

It means, that where ever you are in the World as long as you are in a safe environment, where you are comfortable and can be in a undisturbed place for 50 minutes, have a good internet connection, then we will be able to connect for your pre-booked therapy session.
Having to drive long distances and take significant time out of a busy schedule to seek therapy can be a burden on many people. If you have reliable internet access, online counselling gives you relatively quick and easy access to treatment that might not have been readily available to you otherwise. Mobile therapy provides accessibility to individuals who are disabled or housebound. Mobility can be a big issue when it comes to accessing talking therapies.

Affordability. I am working on my own and not part of any large business or company offering online therapy. So this enables me to keep my cost within reason and affordable. But, unfortunately there are out goings that have to be met, insurance, membership fees, internet and telephone rental, website and further training cost.

My preference is hearing the your voice and the words and meaning behind your voice. it has been suggested that our body language can make up 60-65 % of our non verbal language and this is very important in understanding what is truly being expressed by another person when they are talking.

I am an Integrative Counsellor and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am committed to working within a ethical framework as set out by the (BACP) as well as my own ethics and personal experiences.

I have been a practising therapist in Weymouth, Dorset, the United Kingdom, for the past several years, and I am committed to providing counselling in a safe, private space to discuss your experiences and feelings, free from judgement or distraction, with the aim of understanding exactly how things are for you and working together to acknowledge and address the things that concern you most.

I work with both individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
Due to Covid-19 I am now offering online video counselling sessions. These are available to new and existing clients.
When businesses are able to offer face to face services again, I will be providing all clients with a PPE face shield to use at each session until such time as the pandemic risk has been suitably lowered.

I am trained and experienced in helping clients who have difficulties with :
Panic Attacks
My practice is based in Weymouth, Dorset in the United Kingdom. Weymouth, is a famous seaside town, known for its connection with King George III 1738 - 1820 and the Black death of 1348 . It is very near the famous market town of Dorchester, where the members of the 'Friendly Society of Agricultural Labourer Movement' the famous Tolpuddle Martyrs, were sentenced and deported to Australia in 1838. Both towns are part of the Jurassic coastline.
My practice is within easy reach of Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester, Bridport , Yeovil, Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch.
In Dorchester I have access to a private room in Fordington and this can be booked in advance. Also the same applies to my rooms in Weymouth.
